Week 9 - Nov. 9

Module Nine

Idea 2

Welcome to Week 9! All of you should have work and text in the midterm critique forum space by now. Remember to return to the forum this week to leave quality feedback and read the feedback your work gets as it rolls in. Tip: you should be able to subscribe to your thread for email updates when new comments come in.

This week, we are doing individual consultations. I'm really looking forward to connecting with each of you and learning more about your ideas and work. The term will fly by from here on out. That might bring you solace or make you feel a bit panicked, and I want to reassure you that you are doing amazing and you will finish the term strong. I feel confident about that. Keep pushing yourself and remember that growth always comes with a bit of discomfort because that edge of discomfort is the threshold for learning and expanding. Lean in!

I promised you a lecture on how to write an artist statement this week, and I have included a simple lecture in the optional additional resources. If you feel like you need some help in this domain, please check it out.
